If han lived down the road, I'd nip over there after work with a lump of cash and buy it there and then!
Han, whats the nearest major train station to you?
It'd cost me aprox 67.50 to get the train down to collect it. I reckon you could bung it in a couriers van for about that.
What colour is it han?

So while you lot have been talking about Al's developing bike collection I've been out cycling this afternoon, bit damp and a serious wind. Did a bit of Bwich bashing from Treorchy end, serious head wind up the climb so no records broken on the way up, coming down a different story though, mid forties, thought I was going to take off!! Anyway, 45 miles at a reasonable 16.8 ave. More tomorrow, heavy training weekend, Mrs T in Spain, please don't mention the 45mph thing to anyone going to Spain. Thank you.
It is a cream Caldera, which makes it possible to date it I believe as they had a different colour each year and yes, you can fit discs to it, what is what I was going to do, only, I never got round to it as I always use the crosser...
If you would like it, we can work out some way of getting it to you... I almost came and raced the National Crits in Preston Sunday, but I can't ride as I have a Dutch UCI numberBut am sure something like that will spring up and I can drop it off...
Taking it out for a spin on Sunday, well a friend will be using it, so we will see if it is still in good working order, as I haven't used it in ages! And will take some pics as well... we will take it from there.
Up n down and round and around Rivington pike on one of my crossers(heavy one) for a couple of hours
getting reet muddy:thumbup:
44 mile in just over 3 and a quarter hours.
Av was 13.4
Have seen this event in September and as it near home we rode the 2 toughest climbs.

I think I need a couple of long rides yet to tackle the 100k but feel I could handle the 60k and put a reasonable effort in.
Yup, just keep eating, thats the answer. Porridge for breakfast suits me then keep stuffing it down
48 solid miles for me today, fitness and confidence returning. The classic climbs of Brynn Du and Blaenllechau(Welsh: trans, side of house). Good training for L'escalier du diable........ Good romp over the moors back to Ponty and home (narrowly missing a Land Rover Disco who wouldn't move over, grrrr. Ave 16.5.![]()
