I wouldn't worry about details of results. It's non-competitive anyway. The LDWA ethos is about enjoying doing the route. If your time's recorded - and it isn't at all LDWA events - and is accurate to a minute or two, that's a added bonus. Thanks to Alan not only for doing that but for publishing the times as well, and so quickly.
There's a bit of a danger that as more fell runners do LDWA events that it gets forgotten that whilst they're about challenge, they're not exactly 'races'. (This was an issue that drew very heated comments on the CVFR site when The Hebden was chosen as a club championship event.)
None of the above comments are intended to be critical of Splatcher, who (I'm equally sure) wasn't being critical of the way the results are done.
It's worth bearing in mind however for any other clubs thinking of putting LDWA events into their own championships that times are nearly always to the minute and not to the second. Also, runners/walkers often inadvertently stray from the official route which can lead to all sorts of unseemly wrangles over 'shortcutting'.
