Perfection: best rider in the world gets Gold and local rider gets Silver.

She could have got gold. There was moment when Vos and the Russian (sorry can't remember her name) looked at each other and one flicked towards the other, they slowed momentarily and Armistead had the perfect opportunity to attack. I bet she'll be kicking herself slightly when she watches it back.

Any point inpaticular you want yo know.
They all appear to be sailing randomly around the Solent. I'll take your word they are following some plan, teaching me the rules would be on a par with teaching an American cricket

But Vos would have been on her wheel in no time and passed her - some days you are just not going to win, no matter how much you want it. Looking back to see how things could have been done better helps us to learn for next time, but we should celebrate what we achieve, not regret what we didn't.

Lineker interviewing Lizzie: "Are you going to go out and celebrate?" - in other words are you going to drink alcohol - she looked at him with an absolutely brilliant "I feel pretty good as I am thank you" look on her face.

    About all these empty seats.

At the swimming yesterday they said that the families of the swimmers had to apply for tickets and many missed out yet there were empty seats - imagine if you were one of those families.

Indeed, catching up with the last 24 hrs of this thread, sounds like there's 'knobs galore' in evidence on here too, but I'm not going to think about that too
