Really nice short route when you need something a bit easy, views from High Crag were nice if a bit hazy. I always forget how much of a slog it is up to the crags, a fairly consistent runnable climb such that you'd feel guilty dropping to a walk on any part of it; nice local route recommended for any local forumites. It was warm in the valley, but there was a slight nip in the air higher up. I cooled off by standing in the weirpool below Parcevall Hall as my right knee ligaments were a bit sore.

It looks like my injury that forced me out of the KWL has gone away, but i've been experiencing an unstable right knee joint recently which has needed a couple of Chiropractor trips to get it whipped back into place. The problem may have originated from a lumbar spine complaint i've had for a while and be compensation related i'm told, the knee joint has become unstable through lack of tension in my right ITB, and has been clicking like mad and the lateral ligaments have been very sore and still are. I've flipped my matress which seems to have helped my back a lot, and also my knee clicking.
Me and Hester are getting married at the Cruck Barn in Appletreewick this summer - this route looks like an ideal pre-wedding warmer upper
